Saved by the iPhone

For any of you in the affiliate marketing world, I strongly endorse and recommend owning an iPhone. Not only for all the cool apps but perhaps simply for the web browser alone.

Yesterday morning I received a phone call while driving to work that some of our links were down due to advertiser DNS issues. At this point I was able to pull off the freeway and into a parking lot where I pulled out my iPhone. I opened the browser, logged into the advertisers control panel, copied new URL's, opened our control panel and pasted the new URL's into the system to get the campaigns back up and live again. Took no more than 3 minutes thanks to the iPhone.
