When "new" can hurt

At FluxAds, we've definitely seen the number of search-based affiliates swing upward over that last 12 months. We also have people in-house to promote and develop our own products and offers via search - all of which means that search - and search optimization - is getting to be a critical skill in any marketing adventure.

One of the first things I hear when looking at the best ways to improve online presence is that the client/advertiser/affiliate in question is "getting ready to launch a brand new site!" This is usually conveyed with great excitement, but check this out: Sometimes it doesn't pay to be too hasty.
